This actually isn't even the first time Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds has posted video from a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye standing mile speed test; back in April, the channel posted onboard video of a standing-mile run in a white Redeye, which hit 174 mph on the same Merritt Island runway in similar conditions.
Of course, it's not just Redeyes that the guys at Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds test, but all sorts of exotic, high-powered performance cars, from the Lamborghini Aventador to the Porsche 918 Spyder. What we really want to see now is the new Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang. With 760 horsepower, slightly less weight than the Redeye, and a more aerodynamic-looking shape, we'd be curious to see how it stacks up.
