BMW 8 Series Dresses Up For Pride Month

BMW has jumped through numerous hoops to get the 8 Series off the ground, but sales of this grand touring beast have not been up to BMW's expectations. Dealers are worried that their showroom floors have become clogged with these expensive rides that start off at $97,400, and special editions such as the Golden Thunder Edition have been punted to increase sales but this latest marketing move might be enough to move a few more units.

BMW posted a pic of its pride-colored 8 Series convertible on 24 June with the caption "Thrilled to officially unveil our 2020 BMW Pride wrap. Stay tuned to celebrate #Pride with us."

The car in the pictures is wrapped in all the colors of the LGBTQ flag, and the hood of the car is dominated by hues of orange, yellow and red, which represents life, healing, and sunshine. It reminds us of an 8 Series that was also wrapped in these colors back in 2019.
