Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat and Silver Flare Metallic join the exterior options while Sky Cool Gray and Yellow Strike have been added to the interior choices. Buyers can now opt for A Dual Length Stripe Package in Blue, Orange, Red, or Yellow as well as Stinger Stripes in Edge Red, Edge Yellow, or Midnight Silver. As with last year's model, the 2021 Corvette can be fitted with Black, Bright Red, Edge Red, or Yellow brake calipers.
Power still comes from a 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine producing 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque going out to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. With the Z51 Performance Package, these numbers are increased to 495 and 470 respectively, dropping to 0-60 mph time from three seconds to 2.9 seconds. The convertible only weighs about 100 pounds more than the coupe and manages to retain similar performance figures.
